I've heard three or four so far. One of them was useless, the others were incredibly useful (and helped me not get killed)! I really like this feature so far, I seem to get lucky with it. :D

It's never been too common or uncommon to be annoying for me.

QUESTION:

I just overheard something for the first time since I made my new account. When something is overheard, is it heard by everyone in the location, or does everyone have a separate chance of overhearing things?

Only the intended target and you heard it unless someone else did.

I know that sounds funny but that's the best way I know how to describe the thing.

It's like... first it rolls if someone had a chance to hear it, which is I think 5% if I remember correctly. If that's yes then it rolls separately for each listener if that particular person heard it. In that stage it's still possible that no one heard it after all, but in highly populated places it will be more likely for several people to hear it. But the chance for everybody hearing is very slight.

True...but just like in everyday society, you could go to the mall, walk past two people, and catch a clip or two of their conversation. It's not different than that happening in real life.

I'm glad they decided to implement the overhearing rule.
