Oh you don't seem like a troll. I think relationships in Cantr are pretty much like relationships in real life, in the beginning people are awfully much in love and interested in each other but once they get to know each other, it will lose its newness and people will start to concentrate more on working on projects and less on sex. In a good relationship they will still continue to show affection but some might just assume that the partner knows they are loved because you said so ten years ago and haven't left them. If there is a feeling of being rejected or the partner finding projects more important than one's spouse then it might lead into people having affairs or at least flirting with others. Not to mention sleeping sickness.
