Write character histories offline and then put them in a note of your character if you are so inclined.

You can make a new character if you are not running 15 already.

hmm, well in the daytime I can just run out to the barn and find stuff to do.

At night I just sit and twitch. Or when OTHER people are on the PC and I am not - I'll just sit there and subject them to an endless barrage of "Are you done yet?"
