Okay everyone, once again, check them out. Buy the CD, check out the site.

Also...for those with a weak stomach, or those that are too young, dont watch the videos in the gallery. The last ones especially, I can usually handle most things, but I couldnt finish any of those.

What's the aim behind those videos? "revealing" the brutality of Iraqis?

If you were to read what was written, you would know what the "aim behind the videos" was. We all know how brutal those bastards can be, that wasnt the point. Its their way of getting people to see the reality of what they are facing out there every day. Listen to their songs, read whats written, then you will understand.

Good to see you're ok Xeemar, I've been thinking about you since the earthquakes. Hadn't seen any posts since.

I don't know why anyone would put those videos on a website other than to shock and sicken. We all know what people do to other people and not just in Iraq.

Well, if it was just a group of people that wanted to just put them up there for their "shock value" then I would have to agree, but considering these people were there, dealing with all this, they have the right to do that. And as I stated before, I dont reccomend watching them. There is other things on the site that can be checked out however.

I agree with you. They have a right to post them. Just not sure of the value beyond shock. BTW, I wasn't directing that at you...I think you realized that. Just wanted to make sure. :D

I wasnt positve but was pretty sure you didnt. Even if you were, you are entitled to your opinion as is everyone else :)

Take a look around the rest of the site and you should see why they put that on there, and also see they have a disclaimer on the video potions as well. I believe they are trying to show the people what is really being faced there instead of having it censored by the local media.

Thanks Stan, I'm okay :)

But the reason for me not attending the forums was the earthquake, though. I was busy working voluntarilly at a relief camp here.. with thousands of people. We collected, sorted and stacked literally thousands of tonnes of food, clothes, medicine and other stuff in just 2 days..

The world doesn't yet know the scale of this disaster.. according to very reliable local chartiable organizations (renouned all over the world), the death toll is at least 200 thousand. The govt. is still covering it up because there's already a very widespread anger among the public because the govt. didn't act fast enough, and thousands of lives could've been saved. Most people who died, died because of starvation.. burried under the rubble for many days without food and water, with pouring rain and cold Himalayan winter. The cries of children from under the rubbles of multiple storey school buildings slowly faded away, waiting for aid, but somewhat luckilly, there weren't any grieving parents.. almost all of them had passed away already.

According to UN officials, the real disaster is yet to strike, thousands and going to die because of infected wounds and lack of medical facilities, shelter and food. UN says it has only met 5% of what it has been pleading for, and, as one official put it, it's only the donors who are to be blamed, for not acting quick enough.

I personally know many people who (in the literal sense) lost all their family and their houses.

There has been another tsunami.......

I think I should start a new topic about this..

(Edit: Please post replies to this on the new topic)
