Why not just classify it all as 'urban' and be done with it?
Because that wouldn't make any sense at all. Espicially nowdays, now that hip hop has become much more diverse.

hehe, just thought I would share that. If other people like rap, it doesn't hurt me any. I absolutely despise it with all my heart, but, hey, not everyone is perfect like me.
Do you listen to any hip ho at all? I thought not.
I say again, dismissing an entire genere of music is something done only by the ignorant and bigotted.
As for Rap being an acronym for "Rythem and Poetry", it is not. That's absolute crap.
Rap is a slang term dating back to the seventies meaning to talk. (i.e. "Me and him are just rapping about the future.")
"Rap Music" in hip hop is just rhyming to a backbeat (rather than singing). Hence, to rap.

I don't really see what it is you wanted to say by that, as it's not really anything that one would not know, but I suppose you meant something I do just not understand. In any case, it's very well put together, whatever it is.
However, I really would like to know what you mean by "Gangsta nigga".
What does a "gangsta nigga" dress like? What in the name of god you are talking about?
And Pie, spell right or go away.
Or go away until you spell right.

You should see someone about that cough schme...
Just to clarify my quoted sentence -> t'was sarcasm - a reflection of the fact that (in the UK at least) anything rap/hip-hop/RnB goes under the heading 'Urban' in HMV / Virgin...
It seems I didn't bother to read your comment from before schme...Schme wrote:hallucinatingfarmer wrote:Why not just classify it all as 'urban' and be done with it?
