To convert others is indeed a very important thing. But if you are teaching them corrupted scripture, it defeats the purpose.

Of course, if that is what you believe, than to you, it is not corrupted scripture, and so you are completly orthodox in that manner.


The thing is, what I have said here is not litteral interpretation of the scripture. Not at all.

As you say, the scripture does not explicitly support this, and so litteral interpretation would support your view rather than mine, and so to say it is litteral interpretation is ludicrous. To interpret that litterally would give vague understanding at best.
