*shrugs* Still don't...I guess I should feel silly not understanding a cartoon posted by someone named Cookie Monster...but alas, I don't.

What example? Who are you talking to, Cookie? Does "wet" mean something where you live that I don't understand? Or are you making a tasteless and unfunny joke about all the drowned and miserable Americans in the south?

I also don't really understand what you are trying to imply about your cartoon. What's to understand? This is typical Bush behavior.

I think it can be argued either way. That Bush has done "nothing" as in something useful or that he has taken action but had such an incompetent and unqualified bunch of cronies in FEMA that it amounted to "nothing." Either way it's not particulary revelatory or interesting. Again, typical Bush. Hardly even any point in talking about it.

Cookie, if people are saying they don't get it perhaps you could try explaining to them rather than making your superior sounding declarations implying that they just aren't as clever as you are or they would, of course, understand whatever obscure point you think you are making.

Also, please remove your sig which attributes something to me that I never said or posted. I don't appreciate this at all. What's your deal?

No

I'm not, I'm just posting it for a laugh.

Okay, this is a last warning for you all. Either use this topic to discuss the tragedy of New Orleans and its repercussions, or keep quiet.

This is getting personal... and there is no need for it. If it continues as such, I will lock this thread and moderate posts.

Please, just avoid winding each other up.
