Re: Dragon cave
Why do my hatchlings die?
I got like 12'000-15'000 views on two of my hatchlings yesterday (put them on a site I own, just to test). I thought they would be fully grown, but instead both died. Why?
(managed to revive one of them, but the frill died on me)
((and then the revived one died again)) WTF?

Re: Dragon cave
Maybe the game assumed you were cheating? My adults seem to have around 2000 or 3000 views and they all grew up fine. 12k sounds excessive. If you had a low unique views to views ratio, or more clicks than unique views, that might explain it.

Re: Dragon cave
Looks like you have a better unique views to views ratio than mine do, so it's probably not that. It might just be that they got too many views within too short of a timespan.

Re: Dragon cave
I asked before but seems it was missed: how many views (statisticly) needs an egg to hatch and natchling to get adult?

I guess you can find it somewhere here if it is known: http://dragcave.wikia.com/wiki/Dragon_Cave_Wiki

Re: Dragon cave
Mine seem to hatch at around 500 views and mature around 1000 views. Those are very much ballpark numbers.
Also, my views:unique views ratio is generally less than 2:1

From what I have seen it differs a lot. My red egg below (about to hatch) has: 4,726 1,034 8

Re: Dragon cave
It also depends on the amount of days. It takes about three days to hatch in minimum, I think.

Re: Dragon cave
Thanks EchoMan I found it just a minute ago before I've read your post
Seems that time is most crucial here. After 4 days you have to start getting worried about views. And if it comes to views to unique views ratio it seems there is no rule as you can have max 15:1 ratio (according to wiki).

Re: Dragon cave
I always try to get a views ratio of about 2-3:1, and it works well. Clicks are really not important, you don't need them at all.
From what I've seen with my dragons this ratio with over 1000 unique views is a guarantee of egg hatching (I usually get about 500-600 u.views by this point) and hatchie maturing both after exactly 3 days each, which is the fastest you can get. Probably less would be enough as well, but that's the number I get from Cantr Forum and Daily Dragon Fix alone.
Edit: I've got a Sunsong from AP! *squees* my first ModMayhem dragon!
and I've accidentally snatched a 2-headed from the cave:
No need for it, so in 5 hours it will need a new home. It would be such a shame to just abandon it...
Edit2: reserved

All four of my eggs have ratio about 5:1 and three of them just begun to crack. I'm full of hope!
Edit: last egg begun to crack too!

Re: Dragon cave
Sooo, I got my first dragon matured. Soon will have 3 more do that. Ratio is about 3-3,5:1, using that Daily Dragon Fix.
Edit: Also, I have to get common dragons just to start breeding them
