Towels

Why doesn't Cantr have the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have?
I demand towels. Maybe you could introduce getting dirty too, you'll need a towel if you're gonna take a bath...
But all I really want is a towel, would be nice if it could be used as a weapon too.

Great to see a memorable passage by Douglas Adams can find a new life albeit virual. I'll finally be able to blindfold my chars when they meet the ..?rhinoceros .. I thought, well something like that, the creature wasn't described very well and it was scary to the point of petrifying.
Ok but towels cannot just be made out of any old cloth, silk? no thanks. How about hemp? Maybe.. if you like it rough. But I think only cotton can fit the criteria, in real life at least. Also i like to wash my towels on a regular basis so a high rate of degradation please.

I think char have to be 40 or 50 year to have a towel.
It has to be some status having it. Not just anything
anybody could have.
It must verify some skills to the owner.

No, but it could be ridiculous just to walk around with a towel. Not cool at all!
