It is easily one of the most common resources in Cantr!

Besides plutonium?

I've seen resin in forests all over the place, it's just not on many maps so people think it's rare.

Is it also possible to catch cod with a net? Is fishing with a net only possible on lakes or also on the sea?

Plutonium? Potatoes? Thank god for the variety from island to island! I've never even seen any of those but we do have loads of spinage... The Resource Department rocks! :D

Sails use oil or resin.

Could fishing nets also be changed so they can use oil instead of resin?

See why I was asking for resin projects and not fond of the oil based ones? Didn't I say this would come up?

That's easy to explain off... resin provides less water resistance then raw oil.  But seriously,I'm more in favor of removing the oil from sails then adding it to nets... these are more luxury items and as such, should be restricted by resources... I'm not sure I've spent any real time in a forest, but assuming that it's available on at least one of the primary English (and in at worst, proximity to each of the other language groups) continents, it should be a pointed goal to get it.

Resin is actually quite common (about half as many locations as wood), and has been placed on the older islands (although many maps are outdated and do not show it). I see no need to have nets made with oil.

Yeah, you'd be surprised how readily accessible resin is. Easier to find than oil, it is.

Resin can't be gathered in such a quick way as oil.

BTW, why using axes as tools for gathering resin, and not knifes or rubber tapping knifes?
