I never was one to believe the media. Newspapers are merely propaganda disguised as facts used to line the cages of birds... but I have no doubt this "truth" could become a reality.
I assume our mission will have to do with the "Package"

*her eyes narrow thoughtfully as she looks over the newspaper, a slow grin spreading across her full lips*
Why, Captain. I do not know how to thank you... Though I would have preferred my name actually printed in the article.
*she gives a careless shrug, snapping her fan open as she moves toward the transport vehicle*
I hope you do realize what type of tools I will need if you want me help?
*she grins impishly as she tilts her head, her fan waving before her face*

<hEarty> I know that I am claustrophobic
<pie> did you live in a small house with a large family?
<pie> that would make me claustrophobic.
<hEarty> no
<pie>(oh my gosh, I did live in a small house... I'M CLOSTRAPHOVIC!!!) (just kidding.)

(OOC: Shouldn't we be at the core by now? By the way, I'm looking for anything of interest in the surroundings. Including specifics such as exits, defenses, and other things abotu the Core. Also about other buildings.)
*Lance Haptism looks at hEarty suspiciously before surveying his surroundings.*
By the way Captain, since people should have seen a craft entering and exitting the ship, which is also a government craft, wouldn't people think that you should have been able to save at least a few people? After all, the paper didnt' report a pirate attack, so that means there was a chance to save at least one.

[Narrator] The transport passes the standard warehouses common arround air docks. Generic advertising bilboards show off the latest in automata and luxury products. It then turns, drives into a non-descript warehouse and stops for a moment, before starting a decent on a pneumatic elevator to an underground tunnel where it continues along on it's path [/Narrator]
[Captain Smith] Miss hEarty, I know all about your trade, however you are not required to act upon it yet, and we can't have you causing accidents can we. *Eyes blacken again momentarily, before turning to Lance Haptism* The witnesses have been... *coughs* dealt with... One of our more specialist agents has deleted bits of their memory, or at least made it rather *coughs and grins a little* painful to remember... We shall be at the core soon. [/Captain Smith]
[Narrator] The transport stops and the group are lead through a series of thick security doors, guarded by soliders in black leather jumpsuits, covering their entire body apart from two small black disks at the eyes, allowing vision. They each hold clockwork submachineguns, similar to those with Captain Smith's bodyguards. Eventually you come to a large round room, with a metallic iris in the centre. The iris opens and a platform rises. On the platform is the remains of a woman's body, suspended by wires and tubes pumping blood and blue fluid around. Her legs are completely missing as is her right arm, most of the left, her left breast and the entire left side of her face. Where these were pipes, cables and tubes enter and exit her body, as if she was part of the machine. Her head lifts up and she speaks, with a voice sound like a mixture of a swarm of metalic insects, a siren's song and the screams of a burning witch.[/Narrator]
[The Core] The Core sees that The Core has guests. The Core sees they are human. Why does the Blooddrinker bring humans to The Core? The Core thinks they may be of use, but their lives are so short. The Core has seen may cease to be. [/The Core]
