It says here that sand can be turned into mud, how do you do that?

You would need water and a mud hole, but water is no longer available. Mud is available in resource form still, though.

Hope that helps. Some links are outdated since Cantr is ever evolving.

Ahh, so that explains whu no one could tell me about where to get water. There are a few "pumping Water" projects in one location, so my character there is having fun playing in the puddles and cleaning up the unfinished projects. Should I notify someone more officially about clearing them out if they are unused resources, or carry around this mysterious "water" to trade for rare and useful things in other "arid" locations? 8)

I can PM someone with teh details of who/where this water is, or jsut ignore it and keep collecting a big puddle's worth for storage.

Keep it , its a novelty item (but still can be used to make mud if I'm not mistaken so has some rare value ). I have one Char who's carrying 10g just as a momento.

When I searched the Wiki for 'water' I got this thing saying what you do with water but how you get it.
When I searched the Wiki for 'pump' I got stuff like 'small oil pump' and 'big oil pump' but nothing about a water pump.
How do you get water?

sorry, there's a typo in my last comment, it reads '...but how you get it." it should read '...but not how you get it.'

It was explained in the posts above. Water used to be a resource in the game, but it was removed from all locations that had it. You can only get water now by trading for it, or finishing a water project that was started before the water was removed. However, there has been much discussion about how water will be added back into the game, and most likely will be at some point.
