Bowstring problems

My character used silk cocoons turned into silk yarn and then into string to make a bow, but the project doesn't accept it.
Isn't that the way it's supposed to be?

It sounds right. I have chars that have done that, but they did ordinary bowstring, not silk bowstring (which is obsolete, I believe).

It is indeed how it should work . Can you provide more details, in a PM if necessary i.e. your character, their location and the type of bow you are trying to make . I take it the location has a bowstringer in it as well ?

The issue has been resolved.

String needs to be used to create a bowstring for use in bows. This requires a string jig in the location and a server in the characters inventory.
