Walking dead?

Anyone explain this?

First, early this afternoon...
"You see TBR Enquirer (a man in his twenties) leaving Kirinn Deep Forest, taking to Kwor Forest."

Now, I look in the 'objects' window, and see..

"Body of TBR Enquirer (a man in his twenties)"...

Am I missing something here? Didn't see him die, or be killed; only saw him leave the place I'm in...?

(And no, I've not named two people the same thing)

If a character dies whilst travelling then their body
appears in either

1) The location they last left
or
2) The closest of either their planned destination or where they started


I believe 1) is correct but 2) may be right . Surfice to say the person
died whilst on the road
