Were bears nerfed?

Postby SekoETC » Sun Dec 13, 2015 6:27 pm

Bears used to hit past one of my characters' shield but now they can't get past his shield anymore. Was something changed or did he just get better at blocking?

Has anyone attacked the bears there? It might just be weakened if so.

I think the bears were attacked only once after the last one died. Normally you had to attack them several times to make them harmless.

Yes, you getting stronger and more skilled at hunting would be a factor. I have characters for whom no animal has ever been strong enough to get past even a wooden shield (unless perhaps the kraken or the like exist).
