Disappearing floating descriptions?

Something I've noticed is, when you update a character's description and name, you can no longer get a floating description when you mouse over names of anyone.

What's interesting is, if you haven't yet updated anyone's name while playing character A, that character can still see the floating descriptions. But character B, who did update "newspawn so and so", can no longer see them.

Also, after editing a description, the descriptions on the People tab no longer register returns, so this:
"Spawned 3084.
A bit annoying.
Plans to travel."

Becomes this:
"Spawned 3084. A bit annoying. Plans to travel."

Not something horribly crucial, just something I'd noticed. The lack of floating descriptions is a bit annoying, though, for trying to get quick reminders of who the character is when they speak.

Update: Something new. If an updated character's name is visible in the current scroll of Events, no one's pop-up description works. However, if the only characters visible in Events have -not- had their descriptions changed after the hack, then the pop-up descriptions will show again.

Update again: Also, the formatting on the pop-up descriptions is off. The text is quite a bit larger than it used to be.
