Skills Assignment?

Postby Snake_byte » Thu Nov 26, 2009 11:40 pm

I have a character 'Manufacturing building lock' and there is no skill assigned to it. Shouldn't it be in with the Manufacturing Tools Category?

Good question. I wonder if there's a reason for it. Maybe it was deemed unfair to give some characters an advantage, since it is of such a great military importance. Sounds not very convincing though.

I thought building and breaking locks were purposely given a set time.

Ok I see why that would be building locks...
But breaking locks depends on chance. It doesn't have skill set either. Though one in the latter might make sense.

There are several tasks with no skill effect, including road improvement.
I guess they never got round to it, if a new skill needed to be introduced. If lockbreaking only involved crowbars then maybe strength should have a role.
