Empty turn reports

Postby Razorlance » Sat Jul 11, 2009 10:35 pm

Since turn 2659 my turn reports have been mostly empty, just the start of the most recent message about dragging not working correctly from a while back but stops just after the embedded link to a forum topic. See below:

Code: Select all

Cantr II Turn Report for xxxxxxxxx (ID xxxxx)

Please do read the text below if you did not do so already. The last update has been February 14, 2003.

Recently some people have reported things vanishing when they are dragged. It doesn`t happen every time, but since the trigger for the bug is unknown, it`s best to avoid dragging anything valuable for now. If you do drag something, check that it reached the destination and report in this topic

The last words 'this topic' is the link, which is now broken too. And the rest of the turn report is missing.

Anyone else getting this, can anyone help?

Holy crap, some weird-ass script has appeared there! I have no idea how it got there but I'll remove it and the link...

That the technical term?

And thanks, but I also have several turn reports before this with the same message in full, and are fine. Is it just the broken link causing the problem?

I think some sort of a bot (or a hacker) added the script after the link and that somehow broke things from being displayed correctly.
