God I hope it's a bug, otherwise I don't know what to think of my most promising character being doomed not even five days in. Even being immediately locked up and murdered with no explanation would have been less senseless than this. Maybe it's a sign that December was a good time to quit after all.

fainting sickness question
Do you still get a message about feeling faint when you get sick? Because if you're supposed to I think there's some kind of bug, one of my chars ate 705 carrots yesterday today without any sort of warning...I wouldn't even have noticed if I hadn't gotten a message about being hungry today when she ate the rest.

Wonderful. Well, so much for that character. Now I just have to figure out how to break it gently to her friend that she's dying.
And what, so now you don't even get any indication that you're sick at all? (Not that 'you feel faint' was all that much help before, as far as figuring out a cause and a possible cure...)
Has anyone even discovered a cure? Does it ever go away on its own? There's nothing on the wiki about it, and I haven't seen any info on the forums or in game that either one is possible.
I guess it's a good thing I keep up with the forums and had some idea of what might be happening, and enough of an attachment to this game that I'll willing to put off clicking the unsubscribe button just a little while longer in hopes that things will get better. Because there is no way a genuinely new player would put up with this shit.
If everyone is really so upset about the likelihood of the player base drying up soon, then really I have to ask, why there are 'features' like this that seem almost designed to drive people away?

Nope, still the same old bs illness that is mostly just an annoyance rather than interesting. So as something annoying, most have just ignored it. And it's always been where on some chars you get an indication and others you don't. I never got the faintness, just the overeating for a long time with most of my chars. It should be more graduated in the severity, working it's way up to severe and back down, but that would make too much sense.

You might die from it but why take it for granted? Personally I've never heard of anyone dying from it. The first time one of my characters had it I was a bit worried, but since they had a lot of food, she kept eating it and I noticed every day she ate less than the previous time, a sign of getting better.
When my other character got it later on, he was thinking the town he was in must be poisonous and left quickly, dropped his food to avoid eating it. It didn't last for long. I think he had it again later but I don't even remember how long it lasted.
Currently my Swedish character has it. He's gone rather hungry and is now going to eat something for a change.

About absent event's messages, not necessarily those about sickness, I have been noticing that some events aren't seen by some characters.
For example, in place where there are three characters, no vehicles and no buildings:
You see CharacterA says: "take this iron"
You see CharacterB says: "thanks, A"
You see CharacterA leaves ThePlace going Anywhere.
You say: "ey, B, did A give you the iron?"
You see CharacterB says: "yes, I got it"
You say: "... wow, I can't remember me drinking anything, but it seems I'm blind drunk"
Can this be a bug? Should I report the log when I notice those strange absent events? Or maybe it is an intended new mechanic?

Hmm, that sounds odd. I knew about the vehicle to land interaction being invisible (and by the way, that should be fixed, it has caused some confusion already) but if there are no vehicles then it's even more odd. An awareness trait secretly implemented? I've noticed that sometimes events appear in the wrong order, like once I came out of a building and there was an event of a woman hunting before I stepped out, it looked like she was hunting an animal in the building, in which she weren't herself. But it must've been just mixed up timestamps.
