Worst movie you've seen

Postby Debsy » Thu Jul 21, 2005 1:05 am

Okay...I wanna know honestly...what's the worst movie you've ever seen? If you wanna know mine, get ready to see some ranting..cause I'm on a roll today...

Okay...so...worst movie I've seen?

28 Days Later! Sick!! Just freakin sick movie!! I'm sorry...The zombie/rage...whatever the hell they call it...thing...that was okay. Except for the fact that there's already 20 THOUSAND movies about zombies made...I don't get it. They almost all have the same plot the same story line. People get trapped somewhere. They find zombies, they try to get out. All but one or two die. Whoops...sorry...I strayed...so back on topic. 28 days later. Sick movie. I'm sorry. Who in their right mind, would make a movie like that. I can understand trying to repopulate the place...you know..being the last humans left alive....but why did they make the chicks wear this stupid dress??? CAUSE THEY'RE SICK!!!
Okay...so...next movie?

Babe 2: pig in the city.

*shudders at the memory*

Can't believe I saw that in a cinema. Yes it was free, but...

*shudders again*

Anaconda is the only movie I have ever left the theater wanting my money back. I just about kicked my friend's ass in the parking lot afterwards for even suggesting it. An hour and twenty minutes of J-Lo's ass and Ice-Cube saying Dawg for $5.50 was not my idea of an evening well spent. :?

Ok. The 5 seconds of film and FX to see Jon Voight regurgitated and reingested by a giant snake was alright with me....but it would take more than that to save it.

That's why I've only ever seen one... and that was a couple of weeks ago...

Ehm... the worst I've seen... eh.. I honestly can't remember... I don't go that often, and usually only to ones that I really, really want to see... so... I'll just say Boogeyman disappointed me... and that one zombie movie.. wasn't too bad... just... disappointing as well... though we did have fun laughing, eh?

And I never saw Babe 2, 28 days or Anaconda or Novacaine...

Sooo... 3shy! make me un-bored!

I wasn't really sure what to think of it when I first saw it. Then I watched it last weekend on TV and really liked it. It does have an odd twist to it, and icky is definitely a good owrd for it! But I think watch it a few more times and you'll see it really is kinda funny. :D

I kinda liked Novacaine, too.

I've seen so many bizarre and obscure and odd movies that I could list a hundred horrible ones that no one would have ever heard of.

One really stands out for some reason though. It's a French Canadian movie called Slipstream. I rented it because it uses Van Morrison music throughout and I'm a big Van fan. The only thing I can think is that he was drunk and they were friends of his.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0072181/

The writing, directing, acting, editing, costumes, set design, hair and makeup and everything else involved seriously and literally could not have been more amateurish and cringe inducing. The music was great, though.

Runner up is E=MC(squared) AKA Wavelength staring Jeremy Piven as a tortured, immature physicist who neglects his cute, pregnant wife to have an affair with the most unappealing (and worst) actress I've ever seen. You do get to look at his wienie for quite a long time, though. So, any Jeremy Piven fans...there you go.

28 days later... okay, it wasn't a great movie by any standard, but amongst zombie films, I don't think it was the worst. Unfortunately, it strayed way too far in the end.

As for my least favorite movie, that would be "Ed." It's the one with the actor who plays Joey on "Friends" and a chimp that pitches for a baseball team.

That was a god-awful movie.
