What are the staples of your diet?

Postby SekoETC » Thu Aug 28, 2014 6:21 pm

I'm not sure why I started thinking about this, but I tend to eat some things pretty much every week, sometimes multiple times a week and it would be interesting to compare it to what other people eat.

My staples:
- pasta/noodles
- tomato sauce
- cocktail shrimp
- avocado
- zucchini (I used to eat this more in the past, but recently I've gotten lazy about cooking)
- toast (Before we got a toaster, I didn't even eat bread every day. Getting the toaster changed my life.)
- chicken
- tuna (Mainly in tuna pasta salad)
- mini wieners
- meatballs (mostly made out of chicken)
- coffee with milk
- Pepsi Max

I am sure I could add more to the list, but these are the things that stand out for me:

Pasta/Noodles
Chicken
Salad
Corn
Eggs
Onions
Toast/Bread

Having done the Whole30 earlier this year, I'm curious to know how you found it?

I'm a picky eater living at college... most of the cafeteria stuff is stuff I wouldn't eat.

Staples:
Pasta
Pizza + fries
Burgers + fries

To be fair, I really like pasta.
