Some changes to English clothing names

Postby SekoETC » Sun Jul 27, 2014 12:30 pm

The following items have been renamed to allow wider customization. It's still allowed to refer to them by the old name in the game, but now it's also allowed to custom describe them in ways that don't conflict with the new name but would've conflicted with the old name. The standard descriptions won't be changed.

cotton hombre -> ruffled cotton shirt

emerald and diamond flower ring -> emerald diamond ring

sapphire floral ring -> sapphire diamond ring

silk kurta -> long-sleeved silk tunic

silk sherwani -> silk longcoat

topaz teardrop necklace -> topaz necklace

Awesome :) I always found some of them too restrictive :)

Edit:

One question about clothing- and char-descriptions... Is it now considered "illegal" to make a detailed description of a new object (clothing, or something else) in your char-desc? That would save you some time making the item...

I don't think it's illegal (at least yet) but you should eventually take the time to modify the clothing to show how they are structurally, and restrict the character description to how this particular person wears them (for example the jacket is open, sleeves rolled up, a hidden article of clothing is actually partially visible and so forth).
