Well I know why, I logged off for the night and by mornin my charrie had been dragged into a building and killed! I'm really annoyed and sad I dont even know what was going on and still dont and I didnt even have a chance to beg for mercy :(

I hate it when your charries get caught up in somebody elses war when they would have just done whatever was asked and the others didnt even gain anything from killing her :( *cries some more*

I had one killed over labor day for no apparent reason too. Luckily it was my least favorite. Maybe it was the same people that killed yours!

@theguy happened to me too that night. Suppose we were in the same city. Neither my char or I had any idea what was going on.
Also no roleplaying, no talking, just dragging the whole city in a building and killing it. Suppose it was angry pack of powerplayers :-/

[BUT isn't there a 4 day rule? Or can we whine as long don't mention names&places?]

For me at least it wasn't a char I valued much, however its a bit bad as he was just starting to get a personality...

Once one of my characters killed a good chunk of a town but I think that, even though the characters involved were all Polish except for one, were all aware of what was going on, somewhat. It wasn't all explained but it was all roleplayed.

I think it's pretty annoying people do these things. If you go through the trouble of organizing such a thing you might as well add in some roleplay.

Is there nothing we can do to stop these people who are just killing charries for the sake of it? I mean I know that people can do what they want but its not fun when even if my charrie had a ton of healing food there was nothing I can do about except wine about how much I hate this gang.

As player? Hardly. It would be Roleplaying break to know what was going on.

In the engine? Possible make people drag&die less easy, but sure people would complain they'll get a harder time to deal with scoundrel.

I dont know what you mean... I didnt know what was going on nither did my charrie or anybody else in the entire town. And I was thinking more like making a rule about malicious play like this.

Yeah, that's exactly what happened to my charrie - who I've had since the day I started playing.

I know who it was, cos I saw the vehicle name - it was the usual a*hole bully tribe who think they own the world and can kill whoever they like for absolutely no reason - I just have no idea why. My guy was just passing through, he didn't even have anything to do with anyone there except his wife who he was travellng with (and may or may not also be dead).

I know it's a game and all, and people do violent things in it - but an entire town was slaughtered in, like, a single hour, and not one person there seems to have any idea what happened or why! There's, like, actual roleplay and gaming - and then there's insane, malicious slaughter. And this one was 100% the latter, which is why we are all upset.

If you were dragged away and killed by some people in a town, there probably was a reason for it. Maybe you violated the laws?

No...the people in the town were killed, including the people who lived there, by people who arrived in a vehicle from somewhere else...

As unfortunate as it is that your character was killed without RP, there is no rule about how you should RP a murder. Maybe these characters had planned th attack and decided to do it silently and not give any of the victims a chance to plead for their lives. This sort of thing is realistic. Assasins used to kill like that as well.

I am not saying that they were some unique RP'ers, and you are probably right. They probably were just out to kill characters and not caring much about the true theme of the game. My point though is that there really is no way to make a rule against how you should RP a kill.
Every action has a consequence.
