I am having a little bit of a problem... It show new updates fine, but when I click the "Player page" link to go and see what my characters said, nothing happens... I still have to open my browser and log in to check my characters... Any way to see the new updates through Cantr Spy?

That's unfortunate... I was unaware of this problem. It works fine on my system.

What is your default system browser set to?

If you are using Internet Explorer 8 and experience problems with launching your player page from CantrSpy, then select Tools > Internet Options, go to the Programs tab, and click the "Make default" button. I found that this allowed CantrSpy to open the player page in IE8 when it did not before.

I have Internet Explorer 8 on my system, but Firefox is my default browser... Should I change my default browser to IE?

I did what you said and made the IE8 my default browser. However, it didn't fix the problem. When I click the "open player page" link from cantrspy, the cantrspy minimizes like it is set to do, but nothing else happens. No browser opens or anything...

Firefox > IE8 ;) Firefox works fine for me, too. Downloaded, opened player page.

Then I'm not sure what the problem is.

Do you connect to the internet by proxy?

No I don't connect by proxy. When I try to select the connect by proxy options under settings and then press connect it give me an error message and will not connect.

Do you use Vista? Could be some security issues.

Try using Firefox's UI to set its self as the default browser.
