Funny or Interesting notes

Postby joo » Sun Oct 19, 2008 12:38 pm

Here's one I found in a prison cell in Reniov Forest East, entitled "....."
Stole 1 small, 1 medium and 1 large log from Reniov forest

 I find the frankness of it very refreshing. It was accompanied by several corpses, one of which I presume was the writer, and I later found the logs in a different building.

I know the text of note number 1. It's some kind of diary. I'll check it after the minute reset.

Oh, hehe. I know other notes, too. I don't think it'd be wise to start posting all kinds of hacked notes, though.

Reviving an old topic, I thought we had a longer topic on the same subject but I couldn't find it with search.

I'd thought there was another thread too...but oh well, as long as we have one that's active. I'll have to try and remember this one exists next time I come across a good note.

The date on that is pretty recent...ongoing event??? Clearly some kind of top secret wolf/hyena hybrid abomination breeding program going on and the town needs to be cleansed.

You might want to step back there. There's nothing weird going on there. No secret government experiments whatsoever. Do not come back.

Now that we have improved note management abilities, I've been sorting through some old piles and have come across some good ones.

Favourite note title:
Look at all these coconuts!
No idea what that one was about as it's blank inside, but it’s truly ancient and still makes me giggle. For me, this note encapsulates what’s still fun and unique about Cantr.

Favourite note all time:

title:
Picture of Janine naked
content:
You see a woman in her twenties wearing nothing worth mentioning.

Fingernail inspections every Thursday. No exceptions!

No live animals are allowed in the kitchen (unless they have expressed a keen
interest in the culinary arts, then by all means, they are welcome, we don't
discriminate)!

In event of fire/explosion/flooding/catastrophe, leave everything and exit the
building in an orderly fashion. No hiding in the cellar as the lone survivor trying
to ride it out! This is a terrible idea, it never works, and it'll be weeks before
we find your frozen body.

Above all, relax, enjoy, and have fun!

Cantrians were always so very rebellious against authorities.

Summarized Laws and Disinformation 1860 (The Western Hills of the Really Really
Really Important Gagonsnatch, Krif hills west)

These are the summarized Laws and ESSENTIAL Information of the Western Hillocks of
Bullocks, formerly Krif Hills West is subject to their own Code of Blah Blah Blahs,
but the Will of the MacWankers.

Super Big Deal Crimes: Crimes punishable by beating with a rusty trombone

- rewriting our self-important notes
- doing whatever the hell you want, even if it is by far a lot more fun
- insulting the Lord or Lady or any member of the Inner Circle Jerks

Not so Big of a Deal Crimes : 20 times write "I will be a mindless, spineless
follower"

- hurting or killing a lion or wolf, and especially no donkey punching
- trespassing through the bum area without a kind reach around (passing through the
bum lands or staying in our bum lands without introducing oneself)
- stealing, except for Shrugs Akimbo. He can have stuff.
- hunting without consent from someone claiming a vacuous leadership role
- Potato`s may be gathered here freely and with great merriment! Corn is a restricted
resourse you must get permission from the Really Really Important people of the
Western hills before gathering.
- Introduce yourself only as Shrugs "Motorcycle Madman" Akimbo and be servile in
these lands.
- No new buildings are to be built here while there is a million crappy mud huts that
can be traded for.
- This is a formal whining from the MacWanker Clan, those failing to follow these
simple rules will find yourself being bossed around until such times that you can
conduct yourself in the way we want you to.

Lady Dirty Sanchez.

A little less eloquent:
Dear, bitch i just got into town a few hours ago so i didnt know the law

Of course it was completely sensible that people would retaliate when you consider events like these:
1002-3: Jo Jo (Seaforest town clerk) says: "All of these actions are expressly
mentioned in our laws, which you either chose not to read, or chose to ignore. Get
comfortable, you will be here for a while longer. You are lucky, though. Immediately
following the two latest arrests, I have declared that future violations of our law
will mean death. Do not make any more disturbance, or litter the Forest with useless
notes. It will only reflect badly when release dates come up"

1002-3: Jo Jo (Seaforest town clerk) says: "And you began manufacturing a weapon."

1002-3: You see Jo Jo (Seaforest town clerk) pointing at you.

1002-3: Jo Jo (Seaforest town clerk) says: "You attacked an animal."

1002-3: You see Jo Jo (Seaforest town clerk) pointing at a woman in her twenties.

1002-3: Jo Jo (Seaforest town clerk) says: "You were mining hematite illegally."

1002-3: You see Jo Jo (Seaforest town clerk) pointing at Selonia.

People used to take their laws seriously. :(

Diary of a Prisoner
Day 1-
It appears that my stay is real. After awakening here, i feel slightly
alienated. The world to me is this room. Time passes as if minutes became hours and
hours are day like. Im here because i aparently killed a pigeon, a small crime I
would say. How I ended up in seatown hills im unsure, but perhaps i should have read
the laws. I know nothing of the outside. What are they up to? What is to become of
me? How long am I to be here, one may never truly know. But I can feel the agony
that is this sentence.

Day 2-
Today i've found a small mouse who i have affectionately named Squeaks. I havent been
able to hold him yet, however he is my only companion is this place im in. I wonder
how much longer I will be here.
