Born: day 874 in Kirrin Forest

I dont think thats right... cause i know that none ofmy characters ever saw the triple figures, even on my previous account.

Hmm... all chars start at age 20. I believe they forgot to substract that difference.

874 + 32 year * 20 days = 874 + 640 = 1514. OK?

Ashragon is right, they forgot to subtract out the 20 years that we didn't exist.

I think that 20 years needs to be subtratced... otherwise this will create all sorts of questions about what chars do before 20... again... :roll:

Makes perfect sense (as much as anything in CANTR does)

The figure is correct in that you are spawned at 20 years old so take 20 year off that to get the age of birth

Well, when character is spawned at 20 years old then it was born 20 years before. Yes, there are too many questions opened, but weren't they opened before? Does it change the date of born?

I know my chars are 20 when they spawn... but... as far as I'm concerned, their DoB is the day they spawn, because that's the day they gain consciousness (well, some do, some wait a day or two, or until they die) and appear. They don't really exist before that, even though their age, 20, would make it seem so. Therefore, to me, 20=0, and they're just on a different scale, rather than the 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 20, etc. scale. Changing the scale to 20 only really rationalizes to us OOC that they are of the age to be able to take care of themselves, and it leaves room for adding in children later if it can ever be worked out.

By the way, I really like the new implementation!

Yeah, I like it too. Especially with the spawndate rather than the birthdate.

Er...one of my charries has a wrong spawn place...She was spawned in West Kol, not karnon seaside..
Awkward: Having your phone go off full volume during a funeral.

Even more awkward: Your ringtone being "I Will Survive"

The most awkward: Coming back after a 10+ year hiatus and swearing I'd never come back. :twisted:

I'm pretty sure one of my chars has the wrong town listed too...could it matter if you left right after being spawned?

The spawn location is correct for all characters spawned since 660 . Spawning location was not recorded before day 661

27 rats - I'd suggest either you have forgotten exactly where your character spawned or you have dynamically renamed West Kol as Karnon Seaside
