Speaking within a vehicle

Postby UloDeTero » Tue Apr 18, 2006 9:34 pm

Just a small thing, but when a character speaks, you should be able to see whether they're inside a vehicle or not. As it is now, you can't tell, and can end up talking to someone without realising they're in a vehicle.
Maybe something like in the People page:

8888-8: Normalguy (NRMLGY [Passenger Car]) says: Hop in!
or
8888-8: Normalguy says, from NRMLGY (Passenger Car): Hop in!
or
8888-8: Normalguy in NRMLGY (Passenger Car) says: Hop in!

There are any number of ways it could be presented.

I think it would be too cluttered, in a sense... especially if they talk a lot from their vehicle. Maybe not, I don't know. It's just one of those things that doesn't seem really important or like it would be often useful..

It makes a lot of sense to me, it could remind you that the person hasn't exactly seen all that has gone on for example...
