Stupidest thing(s) You did/thought as a newbie
Since we've been busy laughing at poor n00bs and their ordeals, let's take a look back and reveal our own most embarrassing screw-ups, childish misconseptions and other things like that.
I thought that...
- a curing tub heals people
- I might be able to sell a bone ring to a well-equipped man (luckily never got into trying though)
- grapes are a good daily food
- I can't eat potatoes because clicking the button gives an error message
- that people might be mad at me if I log out without letting them know
- that projects advance in real time
- that you can work on several projects at the same time
- that getting clothes, equipment etc. is easy
- that you're immortal (well, I knew death would be final but I never though one could run into their bitter end in their twenties)
- that it's good form to have a background story for your characters since they're 20 already
- that nothing worth mentioning means some sort of basic clothing (nope, these days I imagine my newspawns naked)
- that all your suggestions are fresh ones (don't we all?)
- that there is justice
- that pottery would be added soon
(- that there is a chance to make art)
(- that there is singing)
(These are in parenthesis since they are kinda true, but in very small form.)
What I didn't know was that you can't drag a note while working on a project.

One of my characters ws challeneged to "Meet me in Naron, I'll take a boat and get there ahead of you...". Since I was new to the game, I thought this was going to be a fun but short-lived mission to just help me get the hang of exploring.
Little did I realize just what sort of time/distance was involved when my Brunoi-area-spawned character set out to find Naron...

I didn't understand dynamic naming, so I thought I broke a game law when I named my first character Vex instead of 'a man in his twenties.'
Wouldn't have been as bad if I didn't make an OOC comment out of it and paint a big red sign on my face that says 'NOOB'.

I spawned in the Hills of Hilloi. Think there were tomatoes there. I picked them but it kept telling me I was hungry.
There was another man there that would never speak and I slapped him about 25 times trying to get him to speak. I thought, "what an idiot!"
