How do you make string?

I looked through the manufacturing section in the game and I couldn't find out how to make string. I plan to make some bowstrings but I need some string. Can anyone give step-by step instructions on how to make it, like tools required, machines, etc.?

Take yarn (hemp yearn, cotton yarn or silk yarn - NOT wool yarn) and run it through a twiner (http://www.cantr.net/mwiki/index.php/Twiner) or simple twiner (http://www.cantr.net/mwiki/index.php/Simple_twiner).

The yarns are obtained by running silk cocoons (gathered raw), hemp (gathered raw) or cotton fibers (run raw cotton through a cotton gin (http://www.cantr.net/mwiki/index.php/Cotton_gin)) and running them through a spindle (http://www.cantr.net/mwiki/index.php/Spindle).
