Thanks ProgD! - Resource Slot Display

Postby Agar » Thu Feb 16, 2006 7:14 am

I just want to say thank you for that whole "16 0f 17 resource slots currently occupied" bit. I was so excited when I say that. That was great! Now us town leader types can really get things muck more regulated, have a better grasp of the situation. And it will be immeadiatly obvious to new players if the're going to be able to dig potatoes or need to start begging.

Great job!

You just KNOW someone is going to whine about it now being much easier to find out the maximum number of gathering slots, though. :P

/Hellzon - approves of this one too

For once, not me! It's fabulous. :D Also it seems to be that the harvester rates have been increased. If so, many many thanks for that also.

If fact, it's starting to look like the geographical areas I was becoming concerned about could support very much larger populations now. A few alternative ways of preparing potatoes would still help, but apart from that, it's looking good! :D

Thanks, ProgD!

And thank the Resource Department .

We only added the resource slot summary , the changes to the harvesters are their responsibility

Hadn't had the opprotunity to set up a new harvester project, wasn't aware of that yet. Thanks RD!

Does that mean the increases to food consuption have reached their limit, or are they doubling from their original rates, like someone had said?

No , Every outdoor location has a certain number of resource slots available to be worked. The raw resource collection projects (digging limestone, gathering wood farming for carrots etc) each require one slot for each person working on them .

So if there are 11 Slots available in total then no more than 11 characters can work on these type of projects in that location at anyone time .

Ohhhhh... So it's the number of people who can be collecting resources at any one time...

I just noticed it recently and I like it. It saves me from that long and terrible journey to the projects page. It stops me making one more unnecessary step, finally I can be lazy, cheers!
