Anyone hate OOC chatter?
Anyone hate OOC chatter from a guy you are fairly certain has bad rping skills, and who tries to tell you how to rp your characters?
eg.
'OOC: cut the OOC'
"OOC: No. You're way to involved with your character. Honestly. To be a good rper you have to be a totally seperate entity and see everything from their perspective. You have to be different from your character and not let your emotions get in the way of what your character wants or needs."
...
This is really annoying me...

[Angry fussy rant part, please ignore if you want]
He broke the CR with the first dozen notes he dropped, mentioning real life cities or places he'd never been, with a notion put together probably before he spawned with this elaborate story about some god. Then he complains about my character's choice of words. And then he tells me I'm not playing my character right. And then he tells me it's not the Cantr way to do this, or that, or this or that. And I ask him to stop OOCing unneccesary stuff for the third time, and he continues to complain about how I rp just because my character has a natural disliking for all people who ban sex as the first rule of their religion.
I've been playing here since the 600s. I know how to play my damn characters.

This forum isn't the place for you two to have this kind of discussion.
If you really want to get others involved other any sort of CR breach, ask the PD.
Otherwise, keep any arguments between yourselves. There's no need to make it public like this.

(And what exactly is a Tuesday? Or a son? Or a boy, for that matter? And misspelled or not, "Bejing" is a city in China...or at least it sure isn't in Cantr. Also, I wonder if the citizens of Blojt remember revering this Gomhorrus guy? There are still characters alive from back then, you realize?)

Seriously man, you were born to write fantasy fiction. Just don't know how much of that stuff actually belongs in Cantr though...

And OOC chatter is always annoying. I'm inclined to side with Insane here, just because of that lecture on how to RP her characters. Save the rants on that kind of thing for the forums.

Seriously. Calm down, both of you. Don't let the emotions of your characters drag you into OOC arguments, and keep OOC arguments to yourselves.

Okay, I'm definitely on Insane Irony's side now. Everyone was having a great, interesting little RP session, and then you start insulting Sunev's player? What possessed you to do that?

Seriously, I think you may be having difficulty seperating characters from the people behind them. I hate to picture the OOC swearing and spam if one of your chars was ever attacked...
