Buildings Ablaze
I think there should be a way to tear down buildings that have already been built. Like a way to cause arson or if you read the thread about statues a bulldozer. This could open up a new area of sabotage to help with war planning. *imagines an army of spies taking an entire city out*

A good idea that's been brought up a few times. The thing is that Jos wants to keep a lot of things permenent so that the world keeps a sense of history. Though he might be just referring to notes, which is why you have the option to lock them. We'll have to wait for the bossman to answer whether this could ever happen.

I don't think buildings should just be torn down though, a certain amount of the resources put into building them should be able to be recycled. Being able to burn a building on the other hand would destroy it.
But from the historical perspective, people have always torn down what they don't like or don't use, historical buildings don't become historical because they couldn't be taken down. Building destruction/removal is one thing I would really like to see in the game.

Of course you could always kill the person trying to tear down the building. Or you could make a building upkeep sorta thing. Nothing tremendous. Maybe a little wood and little stone like once a year (month) i think 20 days is a month now same thing with vechicles. This would make people think twice before building a building or vechicle.

I like this idea. I think whether there are resources left after the destruction depends on the material: wood would burn away, but stone would stay.
I think you ought to have to reclaim the resources out of the rubble, but at a faster rate than getting them from the ground.
Perhaps the entrance to rooms inside the destroyed one would be blocked until the reosurces had been reclaimed?
I think destroying practically all buildings should be an option, and other things as well: tools, vehicles, machines, the lot.
I want to be able to raze my enemies' strongholds to the ground

hmm Road Improvements should be one of the things that should definitly be destroyable. Military action today relies a lot on taking out roads and bridges (bridges there's an idea) to slow down advancing troops. I always though road ways would slowly deteriorate. I have only been playing for like 2 months and wasn't sure of that though.
