Picking locks on vehicles no longer in the area

You can or could continue picking a lock even after a vehicle it's on has left the location. Has this bug been fixed? Since it doesn't make much sense. The project should travel along with the vehicle, the lock would still be half broken and wouldn't magically get fixed if you leave before lock breaking finishes, but it couldn't be picked from a distance.

Off the top of my head I'm unsure if this has been fixed - Its definately known. I'll check that and implement it if it's not fixed

The project is /will be (see above) cancelled when the vehicle moves, lock picking is not an automatic success and so is just considered a fail in this case .

Lock destroying (of unlocked locks) is different. Since these can only be set up where the lock physical exists, they do travel with the vehicle


Allof the above applies to boats as well as land vehicles
