Ok. Let's see what everybody thinks about this idea.
Say there is an emergency in your town and you really need to get news to the next town to warn the neighbors or call for help, but you don't have the proper vehicle to help you make it there in time. Or, you are just a little too slow catch up with that pesky notethief that is getting away because you are weighed down by your arsenal and food. Well, how about implememtning running?
Let's say that if you are on foot or riding a bike, you put a little extra effort in to it and manage to increase your movement rate to 150 to 200%. The payment for this speed increase is tiredness. Instead of bounding across the plains for days at a full sprint like a Tolkien adventure, every hour at running speed increases your tiredness by 10% or so (number to be decided later).
Will it improve strategic travel and defense? Is it worth the programming?
