I'm a little confused as to how time passes. I appear to have used up all my time, do I have to wait three hours or what? surely this just inhibits roleplaying?
My character was in the middle of a fairly important conversation, and now I cant do anything for hours. What gives? Is a turn 4 real time hours?

A turn is three hours.
Once a day (I forget which cantr hour) you get reset to 200 minutes.
It usally takes up to 30 real minutes after the hour starts to rest this time.
The best way to convserve time is to log out after you've done something that takes a long time like...
reading a long event sheet...
doing something else besides cantr while waiting for it to load (due to the temporary problems I think many people have been draining there time quickly wanting for response)
If you in a converstation and your wating on response. Log out then log back in to see if the other side has repsonsed. You can waster a lot of minutes wating on someone who might have had thier computer go down etc.

Actually 1 turn is a day, and that is divided up into 8 parts, but most people use the term interchangeable to mean either of them, or both.
