Events have different symbols placed on character page

Postby grayjaket » Thu Oct 09, 2003 8:52 am

Well, I just thought that when everyone gets hungry, that instead of having it look like something happened in the town, have some kind of little symbol or something next to their name. That way if your in a hurry or something you don't have to check all your chars names thinking something might have happened in the town, when all that happened was that he ate something. This would be nice for us in different time zones too. Did what I said make sense?

The other suggestion was not to not see eating. This is different.

It would be nice to see something special if you were hungry, hit, or dragged since the last time you checked.

On the time zones it might be easy to implement if the isalnds all had seperate end-day event hour. One time just different eating times. Sea vessels need to be taken into consideration too.

Yeah that's what I thought, but I was actually thinking about real time zones, since us here in Japan get our eating time at about 4 o' clock in the afternoon.

Well, here, the Cantr eating time is 3AM...which is actually just an hour before when I ate my main meal of the day/night/whatever during the summer. o_o So I was pretty nicely synchronized with Cantr then :P
