I would dearly love to see narcotics be implemented in the future. Having a drug trade in Cantr would definitely spice things up. Of course... it would be difficult having to roleplay dependance and withdrawal, but the idea of it is nice.
Maybe some drugs could increase attack skill or resource collection rate for a small time, but then the drop off would cause you to become worse than you were to begin with at those tasks unless you get another drug dose.

Yeah I haven't been rp'ing it in ages but people still presume he's doing it. Every time he's coughing... or getting exhausted easily... or forgetting things... acting a bit weird... So since there is a drying rack in town it's hard to avoid the temptation of rp'ing to use it. So please, could you? (I hope the results won't be as terrible as with new things usually.)
Edit: Effects? How about turning all text into 1337? That would sure make people act slowly when they're high. Also... ok this might be too much but adding lol randomly after some sentences. Or in the middle?

Make every line of text for that character Blink, at different rates if possible, in rainbow shading, with Marquee, set to travel at differnt rates, with some lines wrapping around, some bouncing back and forth, and some falling to one side, and some the other.
