Ape or man or apeman?

Postby kinvoya » Fri May 06, 2005 7:37 am

I'm not sure what's going on here. I've seen this guy in two towns now and he pretty much had the same actions.

1158-3: You see ape man leaving Djorf Hills (south), taking Seatown Road to Drojf.

1158-3: ape man says: "*the apelike man stops, back arched forward, arms swinging loosely with a club grasped tightly in one hand. he sniffs the air, and lets out a savage war cry before continuing on*"

1159-6: You see ape man leaving Drojf, taking Seatown Road to Krif.

1159-6: ape man says: "*he looks about the town, sniffing the air. he stops and stands at his full height. letting out a savage cry, he graps his club and returns to an ape-like posture before running off into the distance*"

Thought someone might want to know.

Lol. I enjoy some of the RP but find some of it annoying. EG. There's a robot from the future in Blojt, we've lovingly abbreviated his model number to "Auto"

I'm confused......is this two different characters, or the same one?

If the same one, annoying as it may be, I don't see the problem. He doesn't call himself an ogre or any other fantasy type creature.....just ape-like. Sasquach anyone?

That's true, although I'd question how one left Drojf, and then the other left to go to Drojf. It would depend on where the second one went from Drofj, if it too headed towards Krif like the first.

Look at the times:
1158 he left for Djorf.
1159: He leaves Djorf for Krif.

Sorry, I didn't make it clearer. It was late.

Anyway, it is the same man.

I fail to see how this is anywhere close to a capital rule breach...
I think it's time for a topic lock.

Nice attempt. It seems to be a human though a primitive one, so not a case of playing an animal that would be against the descriptions. One question though a small one, does the guy really have a club or just rp:ing to have one?
