Reply Button

Would it be possible to add a "Reply" button when someone whispers to you? For instance, after another character speaks directly to you, have a button that says "Reply to XXXXX character". It would take you directly to another screen where you type in your response. This would alleviate the need to click on the name of the character, click on the "talk" symbol, then type in your message.

Example:

1116-1 John says to you: "Hi, haven't seen you in awhile. What's up?" <<Reply to John>>

Is this doable?

I think that would be a great idea, but it would promote more whispering I fear...making it easier to do and all

It's only one extra button... is it really that difficult?

Clicking their name in the "so-and-so says to you" link and then clicking the "say privately" button is only one extra button.

Is that so hard?

(SC, is that what you meant, or did you mean programming one extra button woudln't be hard?)

With the page-loading speed of the new server, I don't see it as particularly needed now. There several other situations which could be coded first--in terms of priorities.

For example, more than one optional "proceed" button in such cases:

1) When hitting anything:
- proceed and return to animal list
- proceed and return to people list
- proceed and return to events

2) When adding resources to a project
- proceed and return to inventory
- proceed and return to activities
- proceed and return to events

Generally, I find hitting multiple animals the most irritating because there are several steps to repeat each time.

I meant the former. But thanks for expressing it in clearer English for me. Any way to make my sarcasm more widespread...
