What would you like to see in Cantr...

Not suggestion wise, role playing wise. For example an underground mafia in Quillanoi, or someone crazy enough to set a up a fortune telling business.

Hookers! :D Ok I wouldn't mind seeing more rp generally, be that anything, as long as it's good quality (not that autohitting, typo-infested n00b shit).

An underground mafia is so very hard to do. Firstly, recruiting the people, you need intelligent people, dedicated people, and above all people of an evil bent. It's very hard to spot someone with those qualities in Cantr.

Then you have to keep it secret, also very hard.

But I have some ideas ;)

A Collesium! I want to have newspawns given sabres and shields and be locked in a room to fight! And we'll gamble on them!

Aren't there already some? Or do you want MORE hookers? You want brothels to spring up in every town?

Yeah, um... more. *nervous smile* At least I haven't met any, all I know about is what they have in Drojf but I've never been there. And all except one of my male characters are still virgins, and most of them are over thirty so that's kinda lame.

actaully gladiators would be an interesting idea, as long as the fighters role play the actual fight. With all these crminals running around I'm surprised there are no lawyers 8), a few good men anyone?

I'd say the reason there are no lawyers is because justice is short and sharp, usually about the length of a crossbow bolt or sabre

I've had a lawyer once, didn't work out too well.

My Judge's life was cut short.

*sigh*

Our IQ master DS4E has one of those. Interesting how that character makes his living.

I have a character who defends the accused. Unfortunately, there's little place for such a person in the current Cantr society, and she's had a recent crisis of conscience relating to a colleague of hers.

I think people would rather defend themselves than pay for someone else to do it. Since there is no way to prove you would do a better job.

Nobody believes a thief. Or they do believe them, and then the thief turns out to have lied, making it harder on the next thief.

Well, nobody believes them if they know that they are a thief...
Just because you're older, smarter, stronger, more talented... doesn't mean you're BETTER.
