"Please note that we currently experience some bad server performance. We are in the process of finding an alternative server, but until then, the server will be dramatically slowed down. Please be patient and know that it will be solved in the near future. Our apologies for the inconvenience."

DONT APOLOGISE!   THis game is free, and as such you owe us nothing, if anything we should be apologising for complaining about it so much! I hate that line, it makes me very angry  (Please note, I am just a random Cantr player that gets annoyed at things)

We're all random Cantr players....

I think it's useful to pacify those who haven't fully developed their addiction yet, and to help keep new players from unsubscribing because it takes to long to load.

Granted it is free, and yes we should be patient, but lately has crossed an extreme at times, so I think some message is appropriate when it is taking 30 minutes to say hello for instance. It's nice to know that someone is aware of the problem out there and to them I offer thanks.

So speaking of the server issue, is there an update on the new server setup yet. Still planning the switch in the next month or so?

I think they are updating it on Monday or something.

I was only reffering to the apologising part of the message

I don't think Janet JAckson should have apologised for the 'wardrobe malfunction' and I don't believe that Britain should apologise for Dresden.

Doesn't reallt bother me if Cantr apologises whether it needs to or not. But it is appreciated - better safe than sorry.

You might want to reread Jos's message. The Monday night thing is just provider maintenance, which will only take 10-15 mins, not us changing servers. Just didn't want people to get too excited.

Not 10-15 mins of 60 seconds ;)
