Concerning Existing Objects

Postby Cookie » Mon Feb 07, 2005 12:04 pm

These are just a few things I noticed...

- bikes can be made out of aluminum, in fact nowadays bikes are pretty much prefered in aluminium
- I don't see why clothing items such as boots should have to require iron, realisticly you could just make them without it
- if there is a bone knife, couldn't there also be bone scisors?

for the bike, aluminum makes sense, but aluminum isn't really in use so far and i'm not sure if it's production chain has been fully implemented. probably eventually aluminum bikes will become an option.

scissors require a lot more precision than a knife. specifically the blades must be smooth and even, and line up just right (and on good scissors they also have a slight curve inwards to ensure that they are pressed together all the way through the cut). while making a simple blade out of bone would be doable, making a scissors would be very difficult.

True, but maybe some clothing could have an option to be made with a knife. Even if it is a litle crude.
