I don't understand why the ID and password boxes must be behind a link. Couldn't they be on the main page? Or why they couldn't?

I agree. It would be alot more simple.
a day without cantr, is a day spent in bed convulsing and suffering from withdrawl

The main page is there as an introduction page, for new people to read. As well, it holds advertisements, which need to be viewed in order to support Cantr, AND having the Login page has another advertisement as well. If the login boxes were on the main page, Cantr would lose half of it's funds (Or more, depending on if people have a bookmark to go straight to the Login page or not) from ads.

If you're so whiny, just bookmark the login page :P

But if Cantr ends up dissapearing because of not having money... don't look at me!
