Shipwreck wiki article
I have no idea what shipwrecks are, having just returned. Could anyone with a bit of knowledge about it spin up a wiki article? Pwease?

Good idea. I can write it if no one else gets around to it first.

I didn't know there were wiki staff members.

How rare are these? I've been hoping to see one but no luck yet.

Re: Shipwreck wiki article
I've seen two with the same char. I wish I could, as a player, simply make my char dissasemble them to get the wood.
I can't. Can't empty those old ships, the notes, the corpses and stuff, because it would make their story dissapear. Would be like stealing the chance of seeing them from the rest of the players. Maybe it's ooc and stupid, but one of my favourite things about Cantr is the mistery around old, uncomplete stories. Shipwrecks are like a window to the past. Kudos to all who made them possible.

Re: Shipwreck wiki article
The mysterious story of the past: Someone fell asleep and eventually died of a heart attack or starved. Now, years later, I get some free wood!
...okay maybe I'm channeling my most pragmatic character just a bit too much.
But if there were some really juicy notes I'd probably spread them around or write up a new one about what I discovered, the tale doesn't have to be lost just because I bury the bodies and go gleefully digging through their loot.

Re: Shipwreck wiki article
I actually had a character come across a town on a remote island with 7 shipwrecks. He took copies of the worthwhile notes but otherwise left them undisturbed as he didn't have need of the wood. It was kind of cool.
