I'm using the latest version of chrome, have always used chrome, and it's worked just fine until the last few days. Thought it was a fluke when it started but it's been consistent since then.
When I try to search a word in the search bar, it just keeps searching and never comes back with any results.
Bug?

I use chrome too and have no issues like that. Did you try a hard refresh; Ctrl+r?

I just used it like 5 minutes ago (also in Chrome), and it works fine for me...

Re: Search Mechanism in Build Menu
I was having problems with the build menu, not the search, the build menu in general in Firefox not on my Android phone and a hard refresh fixed it like magic. (or programming)

Heyyyy... neat trick. I would have thought restarting the browser would work, but it didn't. This did.
Thank you Echoman!

Re: Search Mechanism in Build Menu
Browsers cache a lot of things on a regular basis. Ctrl+r clears this cache, and it should always be tried first when you have issues with any website. I'm glad it solved your problem.
