Character problem

Table './cantr_cantr/chars' is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed\n
Warning: mysql_fetch_object(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/http/www.cantr.net/lib/page.player.inc.php on line 106

Each time I log on now, that's the message I get at the top of my page, and all my character pages have vanished?

Very confused.
