I think this has been up before, but as I'm not sure I'll go ahead anyway :)

I think it would be nice if you would see from what kind of animal the fur, hide and/or meat came from.

If you make a fur cloak from just rabbit fur it should be shown in the clothes description, and if you use fur from different animals it could just say "fur from mixed animals" or something.

The same with food. It would be very nice with some more diverse foods, and knowing if you are eating grilled racoon or cooked rabbit could make quite a difference RP-wise.

As I have no skills at all at programming I don't know if this would be a big project...but if it was possible it would be really nice.

It's possible, it'd just require there to be a new resoruce for each type of animal meat, fur and hide there are, then for there to be a project to utuilize each and every one of these resources. So ovens would then have about 30-40 new cooking project types, and there'd be about 5-10 times as many fur clothing types, just duplicates in each type of fur.

Wouldn't it be possible to make fur and meat look the same regardless of type in the project lists?

but if they all looked the same after being used in a project what would be the reason of having them look different before hand ?

No, I meant just for the list...so that the lists wouldn't be so long...

I'm not good at programming, so perhaps it is impossible, but to me it feels like you would be able to make the list say "add X fur", and if you add rabbit fur it would be a rabbit coat, and bear fur it would be a bear coat etc.

to get seperate results to it at present we'd have to add a new project for each fur type. and possibly every different amount in between so people wouldn't complain about only have 3/4 enough for this type and 4/5 of enough for another and no moire animal's about kind of thing
