Water woes suggestion. We need an advanced water producing machine, above wells, that could be something like the drill of water production. Someone already suggested a metal windmill sort of object that collects water in another thread.
Along the same lines of helping chars obtain some freaking water, I am resurrecting the previously rejected suggestion about increasing the limit of buildable solar stills to 4 per location (instead of the current 1) and improving their water production. The output of these devices is pathetic to begin with, and in the context of the increased new water reqs to do with flowerpots and herbs, their production rate is just *ridiculously* low.
Water required for most earthenware plants (per day of growing ) = 60g
Water produced per day by an expensive solar still, given that the ship its on is moving = 15g
Time you wait for water to grow a pathetic 50g of tulips = 4 days!!!
And that's for a single earthenware box! In other words, a single solar still (currently you're limited to only one per boat) is incapable of supporting a garden of even a single earthenware box or pot.
Water! I need water.

Personally, I think -either- one or the other needs to be doubled, salt being left alone. Problem solved. Further more, if it was the allowance of one more solar still instead of doubling production, the cost of making that second one could just balance it out in the end.
But in no way, should you be allowed to have 4 on one boat.

Im not so sure you should be able to mass produce water on a boat. Two solar stills with slightly higher production might be conceivable, so you can support a few boxes.
A better idea is to have either more modern day style water pumps, or those water windmill things, neither are too high tech at all, and collect much faster than a well. If you could collect more resonable amounts of water on land, sailors could just trade for it on docking, and everyones happy.

No resources for free in Cantr, thread will propably be rejected as a duplicate. I would presonally prefer to see a motopump, buildable in cities, where water production would be automatic, but which would take fuel.
