Add a "Go Back" link to recource allocation pages

Postby nateflory » Fri Feb 05, 2010 9:10 pm

I've noticed lately, my browser does not like going "Back" when I mis-click things (and also understand the way the session/cookies work sometimes causes those phantom event bugs when using the Back feature of the browser).

However, when you allocate resources (Use Meat on a cooking project, or Add limestine to a big smelting project, or even "Give XYZ to person ABC") there is no "Go Back" link visible on the page.

I'm working through to get a better list of which pages do or do not have this, but I've noticed that sometimes there is a text "Go Back" link, and sometimes there is an "image/button" [Back] at the bottom of the page, which returns you to the events list, or inventory, depending on what you were doing.

If I accidentally click to give/drop/use resource,s when I really wanted to drop/use/give resources I worry that using the browser's Back feature rather than the in-game link may cause unexpected behavior (like dropping twice, or most usually giving me something along the lines of "ERROR: You are not allowed to view events of other players!" messages)

It's a minor thing, but comes up periodically if I mis-click on things.

I strongly agree with this. With the new "no-browser-back-behaviour", every page should have a back button.

Also it wouldn't hurt if they got fixed, like if you read a note on the ground, back button takes you to Objects, not Inventory. :)

Although this page will be integrated with inventory view, the button will be added for JavaScript disabled users.
