Project disappeared?

So, let me explain. I was about 90 percent done on a project to change a vehicle sign. I was training my fighting as well by hitting people with wasters, and I went inside to rest. When I finished and came back out to continue work, I accidentally clicked the X button to canel the project. However, I quickly hit the "Continue Work On Project" (looks like a P) button before the page loaded. It took me to a screen that had an empty project set up, there was no set time to completion, no task name or project initiator, just my characters name working on the project. When i stopped work on it immediately after it started, my original project was gone! I had to start all over again.

Is this a big issue, or something just caused by my hurry to hit the start project button before the page loaded?
